The facilities are great, the staff are always ready and willing to help. Its a very safe environment. Cost of living is affordable. Standard of education is really high.

To be fair i cant say anything negative about the course as i cant think of any

All equipment are in great shape and constantly checked for faults or defects

lectures are efficient

i like being equipped with the tools to make films, and i like the modules individually. i’m encouraged to make films independently and get connected and it’s great. i love how much love documentary gets. i think the uni needs to be harsher on some people. People will plaigerise, let down crews, never learn the roles and chatGPT every bit of written work they’ll ever have. with minimum consequence or no consequence. it is a disrespect to the craft and real filmmakers don’t deserve to be subjected to them. for example, Sebastian Thompson’s crew experience with Liam Rennick on the 2nd year Film-making dialogue exercise project. (he has not told me to insert this it is my own observation.) but overall, i feel equipped and as if i know the right people to work independently, but i wish i could make more connections that aren’t off my own back.
