Best - School of Psychology has excellent resources and expert lectures that go above and beyond with the course specs as well as providing opportunities and support. My course has excellent clarity in the content delivery and module layout. Placement provided is of a high standard and placement educators are well informed by the university. The campus is lively, green, friendly and facilities are close together. There are great sign posted walks around campus and good places to eat. Daily events held and students are well informed. Student union works hard to put on events as well as give society opportunities. Worst - Nothing stands out as bad, although academic tutoring could be improved.

Blended learning has always been delivered to an extent appropriate with government guidance. Lectures and seminars are generally valuable to students and students are signposted for complaints/improvements with an effective course rep system. Delivery across the board is excellent and readings are provided in advance. Great balance of individual and group work. Assignments are explained clearly but not always marked on time.

Close to town - can walk or get the bus. Same for supermarkets. Plenty of part time work opportunities on and off campus. Not a huge amount to do in town but there are many places to eat. 2 cinemas and a theatre, and a museum. Large shopping centres can find everything you need,

Location is nice, near the forest and lake. On campus so everything you need is in walking distance. In the building there is a student common room, large study room with plugs and wifi, and student bar, laundy room, as well as a hall for university organised socials. Rooms are fairly small with single bed but have a sink. Cleaning and maintenance is excellent. Security is good - never had an issue. Toilets are fine but other students can make them messy. Kitchens are fine and have enough space. Halls are very social and people are generally happy there.

I can honestly say I have loved every single minute at Reading. It is a brilliant mixture of a campus University very close to a city. There are good facilities and lots of support from the student union for sports clubs, even non competitive ones. There is a close knit friendship between lots of us on our course. It is intense and the timetable can be a struggle, but it is very rewarding.
