Going to the University of Portsmouth was the best decision I made. Incredible facilities and opportunities, great academic and pastoral support, generally nice city, all buildings and accomodation are a short walk from each other. Portsmouth is also a fairly cheap place to live, with both rent and shopping being cheaper compared to many other unis in the south.

Good level of contact hours with tutors, and plenty of opportunity to reach out to lecturers. Course hours are the perfect balance of having enough time to learn and still have free time.

Good value and pleasant place to live. Compared to other halls, they're definitely one of the better options. Rooms are a good size, en-suite bathrooms, good sized kitchen, and some nice views out the windows. You can't expect a 5-star hotel experience when moving in to university halls, but overall Rosalind Franklin is a pretty good place to be and I would choose to live there again.
