The university of Nottingham is one of the most gorgeous campus' in England. It has all the benefits of being close to a prominant city (Nights out, shopping, takeout and great public transportation) with the appeal, close knit society and greenery of a campus university. It's researchers are dedicated and friendly, alway willing to explain concepts further. I find the society's range to be pretty good, but feel a few key ones could benefit the students Union. I do feel choices for food are pretty decent but that the prices in the spar (main supermarket on campus) can be inflated. The accomodation ranges, and while my hall suffered somewhat from sensitive fire alarms that often set off. But the buildings are solid and the rooms a good size. As a drama kid I have to say a highlight is university of Nottinghams very own theatre on campus (the only student run one in England). Overall while I have some complaints I would say the campus, location and teaching are more than satisfactory.

While when the course was online I found the content dense and difficult to follow, I have to say that the lessons in person have been great, much easier to understand. I would warn for my particular course of Zoology that the first year is more general biology than some prospective Zoology students are looking for so that would be something to keep in mind. The laboratory space and support provided by faculty really makes up for this however.

Great uni, beautiful campus. Staff always willing to help. Friendly diverse city, loads of societies to join and a real sense of community and friendliness around campus. A great place to study and learn.
