I’ve just finished studying an MA at the university of Manchester. The courses and staff were excellent and the course content was always interesting. Manchester as a city is amazing; with great clubs, pubs, galleries, music etc. I’ve lived here for 24 years and I’m still constantly stumbling across new hidden shops, bars and cafes that I’ve never been in before. The gigs at Manchester academy are the best – great bands, cheap prices. You need to be passionate about your chosen subject when you’re writing your personal statement. Show that you like to get involved in extra-curricular stuff.
