The student live is really good, lots of events planned throughout the year. A long with social events they also host a lot of academic events to accommodate everything from essay writing workshops to academic fairs. The university could be in a better location though it is just outside of the central city but it is not a long walk so it’s not too bad. Facilities are good although some lecture halls are a bit dated

My course is very interesting and I like the content that it taught. Some lecturers are better than others and sometimes there is a delay in uploading recordings and material which can be inconvenient . The career prospects are good and the school is supportive in making us aware of these opportunities. lectures are taught in person with recordings uploaded afterwards but tutorials and some others are not recorded. Sometimes it can be hard to get in contact with lecturers or have late responses

It was more expensive for what it was. Especially because there was significant different between kitchen and eating space size shown in the pictures and the flat showed on open day. They only showed the best in the building while the other flats were subpar. In that aspect it wasn’t worth the money. But at least the rooms were consistent

Best parts are the scenic, traditional campus feel. Lots of societal events to meet new people. Worst aspect is perhaps student support, in my course in particular, which aligns with the MBCHb medical course, there’s a lack of support in terms of if I have questions however there is some in place.

Best part is the that the course is alongside over 300 medical students who are able to help me out. Lecturers are all very passionate and knowledgeable. However sometimes aid is only directed toward med students such as a “family” support system for help and to meet older year students which is not available to those on my course.

I love the modernity of the freemans campus, definitely worth the money. There are occasionally maintenance issues which is my only flaw.
