The campus is brilliant it’s got everything you need with a wide range of study areas and food places, the staff are all lovely and willing to help you with anything, it’s in a great location with Victoria park on one side and the city centre just a short walk away through another lovely park on the other, free busses for people who live in the village is amazing and I wouldn’t know what I’d do without them! The whole feel of the uni is very welcoming and comforting which has helped the transition from home to uni a lot easier.

It’s mostly in class lectures which is great and what most people prefer, the building we are in is lovely and has multiple study areas which is very useful and is also accessible 24/7 - brilliant for working on weekends or late nights, the resources and equipment we have is incredible an example is everyone being assigned their own microscope which is something I didn’t think would happen!

The city is a hub of life, it’s known for its diversity and welcoming feel which was certainly felt when I first arrived, it feels like a safe city and according to statistics it is a safe city, it’s got a wide variety of shopping and non shopping activities and has amazing student events.

It’s a very cheap block to live in but it’s definitely a great one to be in, the village is an area just outside the city with a free bus so it’s in a great location, it feels very safe and security is always there if you need anything, the reslife team are brilliant and are happy to help with anything even if you just need a cup of tea or a chat, if there’s anything wrong with the accommodation they are usually right on top of it and happy to help with any queries, the facilities available at the village are incredible - from pool and darts to the gym or even the computer room and study rooms which save you having to go into the city all of it is brilliant.
