Great location and always good support from lecturers. Improvements could be made in facilities, such as left handed desks on floor 5 of rose bowl lecture theatres and more charging ports in lecture theatres as a whole.

All positive, quick feedback from lecturers and quick replies to emails with queries, as well as good and knowledgeable teaching staff.

Expensive but comes with everything you need, 24/7 security, good facilities and helpful staff at reception. Location is a little bit of a walk from campus (20 mins) and not in the nicest of areas, but easy to get public transport from.

leeds beckett is a very supportive uni where lecturers and tutors genuinely care about the performance and welfare of the students. leeds beckett is very sociable although more in person lectures, group work and workshops would allow people to meet more students who are also on the same course as many have struggled to do so during covid.

criminology with psychology is a fascinating course and lecturers often adapt the content to ensure it is interesting and understandable to the students. though we spend 1 hour 3x a week on campus, more workshops and seminars in person would allow for people to socialise and meet more people on their course which has been difficult with limited in person lectures.

leeds is a very sociable city with a number of great pubs and bars for people who like going out. the otley run is also a fab night out. there is sufficient bus routes to get your round the city although the addition of a tram system would be much more convenient. there are a few cheap supermarkets nearby like aldi and asda though they’re much more accessible with a car (30 min walk from the centre). overall leeds is a great place to live for a student

marsden is a very sociable halls however it is a very depressing building and if you’re unlucky enough to have a room facing the courtyard you won’t get any daylight in your room all day. the whole accomodation is in awful condition and is permanently a mess.
