I think the best part is the technology we have access to with the university. The worst part in my opinion is the events at the SU they are often far too crowded and loud for my taste and mostly revolve around drinking.

The causes are very hands on and you need to be in the class to really learn and I like that. However outside the classroom everything else is self regulated and I don't do well with that kind of learning and offer lecturers will take a couple days to respond to e-mails.

The price for the amenities given is not even and the price has gone up each year I've stayed here. The security of the halls are good only students living in them have access and the communal areas are cleaned frequently

Being a student at Keele is like being part of a community. The identity of the University is defined by being situated on a single campus but the University provides facilities that mean you can get everything you need. Situated with lakes and woodland, there's plenty of green space and there are clubs and societies to fit any passion or hobby. If you don't find something you like, you can set up your own groups! The lecturers and academic support are fantastic. Their passion for their subjects shines through and Keele's active involvement with research really shows with the dynamic approach to delivery of Teaching and Learning within the University. As a student studying the environment, I can get involved with a wide range of projects and groups to complement my studies, whilst the modules put together to make the award I'm studying work extremely well to build a solid foundation on which to continue my studies over the years to come. I am so pleased I chose Keele!
