The facilities are great for both studying and for use inside your course.

Facilities and equipment are great to use, sometimes content is covered but never revisited for solidarity

Location was great for getting to and from lectures quickly. Internet was disappointing, it was fast but offered no Ethernet cable so my pc had to rely on a Wi-Fi adapter that worked 50% of the time. Price was also high for what was offered in comparison to other non uni provided accommodation, which is to be expected but still upsetting to see.

Keele university is great place to study with a host of designated study areas, social spaces and teaching facilities. The campus is very beautiful as it's surrounded by green, rural areas, perfect for a walk after a stressful uni week. STEM amenities are brilliant including the medicine building and CSL with many labs and equipment to aid teaching and learning. The campus even has a Greg's and a Co-op which is perfect for a post study snack. The campus accommodates to people from different religious backgrounds with an islamic centre, chapel and designated faith room for students who are practicing their religion whilst studying. To improve, campus parking should be expanded to encourage more students to come onto campus.

Mpharm specifically is a very well designed course but could do with some minor tweaks to make it a stand out subject. The pros of the course include the extensive placements in varying Pharmacy sectors, which facilitate networking, application of clinical knowledge and allow students to get hands on experience. Teaching is a hybrid of in person and self directed study because of the placements which makes students take responsibility for their education and learning. However, clinical content mainly starts in the third year which is very overwhelming for most students. Personally, I believe that we should be taught clinical knowledge that will be used in practice from the fist year of studying with less focus on background information.
