My experience staying in the student halls has been disappointing, to say the least. The buildings are old and not at all value for money compared to what was advertised or expected. Upon arrival, it was immediately evident that the condition of the halls did not match the pictures or descriptions provided. My room's bathroom ceiling is in poor condition, with noticeable patches of water stains, and there was even a point where water was leaking from the ceiling, causing further damage. Additionally, the room lock had to be fixed twice within a week, indicating a lack of maintenance. The carpet is dirty and worn, the mattress is old and uncomfortable, and the pinboard for personal items is in poor condition. The curtains are also old, and there was a time when water was seeping in through a closed window, requiring maintenance to resolve the issue. The location is also far from school. Overall, my experience in the student halls has been subpar, and I would not recommend them to others.
