My university experience was not what i expected, this isn't to do with the university however, but the people i have met. The university has confirmed my love for my subject and has lead me to many opportunities which will aid me to build my skills

There is plenty available, in campus there is everything you need a well equipt gym, a shop, a cafe a pizzeria and a laundrette and if you ever need aything else everything is within 10 min walking distance. the facilities are clean and modern too which gives them a nice feel.

There is support available in all areas of life, like travelling, housing and mental health. there are many workshops set up to help raise awareness and understanding. the personal support i haven't needed so far but they do challenge you to become more independent as a university should do, however i know there is always student support services i can speak to or my tutor to talk about progress and managing my courses

I get a lot of emails about the events and things the student union do and organise however i don't take part in it because I already have a lot of other commitments i make outside of university so there isn't much time for me to do so

There are plenty of clubs and bars to go to, but i don't use them as thats not my thing. Other than that there are lots of shops to visit and small cafes which are independent and have great atmosphere like blue sky cafe. there are mountains and beaches all around so when the weather is nice its always a great outing

There are so many societies, when I signed up to them during serendipity it was so hard to choose which ones to go to because there is only so much you can fit in your timetable. There are societies for all interests and they have well organised events lots of guest speakers and lots of activities to do as well as one off trips for discounted prices which you can add to your bangor employability award

I like the variety of different subject matters we cover and the way a lot of t builds on what I learned at A-level, I don't like the lack of a specification but that is the same in all universities and im beginning to adapt to it. I like how most of the lecturers are passionate about what they teach and the structure of the resources they provide alongside the course

They have a BEA system which is the Bangor Employability award which allows you to raise points on you account for activities you have taken part in, talks and workshops you have gone to and online quizes which help increase knowledge on skills etc

It is modern and spacious, well kept buildings and clean. There is plenty of storage in the kitchen and own rooms and all bills are provided for.
