Really great area to study in for my course with Snowdonia and Anglesey on the doorstep. This also means you can go to plenty of beautiful places to relax when you need a break from studying. I live in halls for just postgrad students and its really good quality and the Campus life team put on great events and it's an enjoyable place to live. Social aspects are great too and there are many societies and activities you can take part in as well as there being great sport facilities

Location is great for the course and lecturers really know what they are talking about. Assignments could be made a bit clearer by certain lecturers but overall not too bad apart from the frequency of deadlines in 2nd semester. Fieldtrips are great and plenty are arranged for us. Good social aspect to the course with everyone taking part in social events

I quite like the fact it's not really busy like other cities and as a student I feel safe here and the location is great fir my interests of walking and you can't not love the stunning beaches and panaromic views that nearby Anglesey and Snowdonia provide. Great sport and other activity opportunities.

The halls are great got to pick my own room and it's in a nice quiet location which suits me. Our flat is like our own little family and social stuff is great with free Campus life as well as gym membership. At my location there's a unique feature as we have some feral peacocks who live near our halls and whilst noisy they are very curious and fun to have around. Only complaint would be that as I'm staying in halls I would expect the University cleaners to help contribute to cleaning of bathrooms and not just let the students try and do it all

The best aspect of Bangor University has to be, for me, the pastoral care within the school of psychology and sports science and the lecturers in that school, they are so supportive and enthusiastic when teaching so all round it’s a good experience. What could be improved is there is ongoing building work on one of the main buildings for psychology and it does constantly interrupt lectures and make it harder to concentrate. It also could potentially cause people with PTSD or people with audible sensory issues to find going to university really hard and should’ve been looked into more really to prevent this.

The best thing about my course is definitely the lecturers, we’re in lectures 9-5 on a Monday and Tuesday and they are so enthusiastic and helpful throughout this that it helps the students power through the day and makes us feel really happy to be there. I’ve heard a lot of issues from other masters students on different courses and I feel really lucky to be on my course where everything is planned well and is a really supportive course. One thing that could be improved is potentially the support for some international students. We go at a really fast pace which some of my peers have said is hard with them learning in a second language and they’re finding it hard to contribute properly or understand.
