The campus is very welcoming and friendly and has loads of colour everywhere; it feels very modern! Government budget cuts mean facilities are being reduced. However, there are dedicated tool spaces, which is especially helpful for sculpture students

Very little contact time with lecturers and only eight lectures for the academic year. It can be really difficult to get a hold of people as lecturers are all part-time

Best aspects: teachers, course, creative community, and location Students are expected to work independently which some might consider a negative aspect, but this is optimal for those with a strong sense of direction.

The course content is broad in scope. The teachers are generally artists and active practitioners with incredible knowledge across disciplines. Prospects and opportunities are no worse than other art universities.

Security is not the best. No thought is given to room allocations. However, the halls are in the centre of town, enabling new students to gain a rounded experience of university life.
