Amazing lecturers

Coursework is sometimes a bit overwhelming or not clarified enough.

The uni has great facilities but they don’t have enough equipment for everyone in the uni, we have a massive lack of drawing tablets and pens for them, it took me to my second year to even be able to get access to a pen meaning I was doing my work on personal equipment that wasn’t good enough. The location of the university campus that I’m on is great as it’s in the heart of Cardiff but there are very little social events held by the uni or student union in our campus since it is not the main one, so I can’t partake in clubs or social events because there is a lack of them at our campus. The teaching we’ve been getting is amazing and definitely the best part of the university, the course is screen skills accredited and really gives me the confidence that I’ll be ready for the work place when I graduate

Our course is taught fully in person and we have great support from our lecturers, the one problem really is the lack of equipment, for example for our course we need to use drawing tablets and these use specialist pens, the uni doesn’t have enough for people to get these pens and people have been left without a way to complete their work because of this lack. The course content and contact hours are great although I really think it could benefit from having a placement year.
