Tell us about your overall university experience so far.
The University of Sheffield has a group of experienced and academically accomplished professors and lecturers in the field of logistics and supply chain. They not only teach cutting-edge theoretical knowledge in the classroom, but also analyze a large number of real cases to make abstract concepts easy to understand. For example, when explaining supply chain optimization strategies, I will introduce real cases of well-known enterprises, analyze their successful experiences and challenges in detail, and help me better grasp the application of knowledge.
It is hoped that the school can be equipped with some advanced teaching facilities, such as a special logistics simulation laboratory. If we can operate the supply chain process in a simulation environment, we can improve our practical ability.

Throughout the learning process, interaction with lecturers is abundant. The lecturers were very happy to answer our questions and gave patient guidance both in class and after class. After class, we can discuss the course content, industry trends and future career planning with the lecturer through email, office hours and other ways. For example, when preparing the course assignment, I did not understand the cost accounting of a certain supply chain, so I consulted the lecturer through email, and soon received a detailed reply and guidance, which played a great role in helping me complete the assignment and further understand the relevant knowledge.
With the rapid development of the logistics and supply chain management industry, the course content is becoming increasingly rich. The length of the current course covers a wide range of knowledge points, which prevents some key and cutting-edge content from being explained in depth. For example, when explaining the emerging green supply chain and smart logistics technology, due to limited time, the lecturer can only give a brief introduction, unable to deeply analyze its principles, application scenarios and challenges, which makes our understanding of these important content only stay on the surface, which is not conducive to our better pace of industry development.
