Met great people and the university is very supportive. Best part of the course is being able to link theory with practice. Interactive seminars are great. Disability service is very supportive and tutorial meetings are good.Met nice people in my accommodation however you pay to stay somewhere you're never at!

Brunel is an excellent university to study at due to it's vast range of facilities and plenty of networking opportunities. In addition, it also offers support for students, for example, mental wellbeing support and academic skills support (ASK). The are also a variety of societies that students can join and there are also many volunteering opportunities that the university offers. One recommendation that can help enhance the university is to offer more support for first year students, especially with studies and adjusting to uni, for example, hosting an event about how to adjust in uni.

Occupational therapy is taught in individual modules and there are different types of assessment tools that are used, for example, written reflections and practical exams. Personally, I do not get enough time with my tutor and have not had a meeting yet with them. There are also 2 modules that are taught at the same time which is quite overwhelming as it is difficult for me to catch up with the content. The lecturers also do not give many opportunities for students to ask questions during lectures and seminars which I find quite disappointing. Overall, I think the teaching in my course is okay, however, it can be improved.
