I feel the campus is easy to navigate in Shrewsbury and well equipped for all abilities. To improve I feel the university could provide events that are easy for Shrewsbury students to attend as travel can be expensive to get to Chester.

I like that we have some modules online as it fits that module better and works well online with access to PowerPoints and articles. I feel that as we come out of covid more time to mix with the other years in my course to get to know them and see how they are finding the course.

I cannot fault the university, yes it isn't imperfect however, I know I am in the best possible environment to achieve what I want to! The university offers so much in the variety of classes, support, extracurricular activities, experiences, job opportunities (etc...) it feels like I found the place I belong. I feel I can truly flourish as an individual studying at the University of Chester!

The facilities at the university are excellent! I feel as a student I have what what I need in order to do well within my studies.

The support at Chester University is phenomenal my experience at high school and college was pretty much non-existent, but here now I feel that I am being listened to and offered the best possible support for me. I mentioned that I may be on the ASD spectrum and it has been arranged for me to get educationally diagnosed, which would positively support a medical diagnosis.

The student Union has a vast range of facilities, and they always provide the best information to the student body!

My campus isn't situated on the main campus, it is approximately a half hour walk there and back. If I have a full day I don't mind the walk, but if I only have one class it can be a pain. The main campus is about a fifteen minute walk from Chester city centre and there are plenty of supermarkets within walking distance!

There is a wide rage of societies and sports to join, with the opportunity to set up your own if there's one you'd like to provide for people

I like how open and approachable all the staff are, and how willing they all are also to help us out. I'd say though at the beginning of the first year we had an extended induction period, we only had a couple assessments before Christmas. Now after Christmas there's a lot we have to do practically and assessment-wise before we break up for the summer in April/May. If all the assignments and assessments were distributed throughout the year and the induction period wasn't extended it wouldn't feel so overwhelming now.

We have development weeks twice a year with a focus on providing extra qualifications and talks in order to increase your employability, however I do feel there could be more events catered for the arts as it can be hard to promote yourself effectively as a performer (etc...). Sometimes in these environments job interviews aren't applicable in order to gain a job within the arts sector.
