The department I’m in is incredibly diverse, with world-leading research. The people who make up Film and TV are also incredibly supportive, constantly encouraging you to go further and push yourself, but are also massively understanding that life can get in the way sometimes. I’ve stayed at Warwick in the Film and TV department from undergrad all the way to PhD and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. The student union are somewhat useless, they don’t really do much other than have elections. Their impact on my time at Warwick (5 years) has been very minimal and mostly unnoticeable.

All courses from undergrad to PhD are very well equipped and the module selections are becoming more and more diverse with each year. The tutors are all approachable and willing to help, and they all teach very well.

Far too expensive now for what it is, when I stayed in them it was much cheaper and better value, even though then it was still considered the ‘expensive’ halls.

It’s a very comfortable campus and makes things easy to navigate as it’s all in one place. There’s many places to study outside of just the library and places to eat and drink. There is a place for night life that is safe. Every member of staff i’ve encountered have been amazing.

It’s almost entirely in person which is sometimes difficult for when you are sick or miss a day, as lecturers dont upload their lectures as videos or audios and only supply the powerpoint (or not). However the available contact hours are often good and lecturers try to be helpful in their feedback. The content is varied and mostly is interesting, engaging and relevant.
