Best aspects of my experience at Nottingham Trent University (Clifton Campus): One of the best aspects of studying at NTU Clifton Campus is the calm environment, which creates a focused and supportive atmosphere for learning. The campus facilities are modern and well maintained, particularly the library and teaching spaces, which support both independent and group study. I also appreciated the supportive lecturers who were approachable and willing to provide guidance, especially during assessments. The campus community felt friendly and inclusive, making it easier to settle in and build connections with peers. Worst aspects and areas for improvement: One of the main challenges of studying at the Clifton Campus is its distance from the city centre, which can make commuting time-consuming and limit access to wider student activities. In addition, some services, such as academic support and wellbeing appointments, could be more accessible during busy periods. Improving transport options, increasing on-campus events, and expanding student support availability would enhance the overall student experience.

Best aspects: The Masters in Education course is well structured and intellectually stimulating. Teaching is mainly in-person with some blended learning, which allows for meaningful discussions, group work, and the sharing of professional experiences among students from diverse backgrounds. Lecturers are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable, and they encourage critical thinking and reflective practice. There is good access to learning resources online, and lecturers are generally responsive to emails and willing to offer guidance outside of class time. The course content is relevant to real educational settings and helps to develop both academic and practical skills. Worst aspects: One of the main challenges is the timing of classes, which run from 5–8pm. While this may suit some students, it can be very tiring, especially for those who work during the day or have family responsibilities. Getting home late can affect work–life balance and concentration levels in evening sessions. At times, long lectures in the evening can feel demanding, and earlier or more flexible scheduling options would improve the overall learning experience.
