The University of Sussex is located in a serene environment, conducive to learning. I love the quietness and calmness of the classes, especially during lectures. There is usually no noise pollution and harsh weather when in class. The arrangement of the classes is well structured to capture student and lecturer engagement during classes. The method of teaching is simplified to the understanding of every student. The adoption of the group discussion facilitated through the canvas site where you can have prior knowledge of the coming module is an excellent approach to teaching and learning, especially for an international student. One fantastic skill put in place for international students by the school is the English Language for Academic Study, I learned and improved my reading and writing skills on this platform. To further add to existing ways of acquiring studies in Sussex, I think international students should be given more attention, such as tutorials to further engage them because many of them are not used to the academic system abroad. Tutorials such as one-on-one by the course lecturer.

Many of my lectures were in class. This approach is very good, especially for an introduction to a module. However, I think when a subject is well understood, a time for reflection can be given, having both methods: online and in-class.

The University of Sussex is located in a serene environment, calm and cool for learning. It's easily located and has good transportation through the Brighton and Hove buses. I have enjoyed a great discount using the student's identity card transporting to school.

The availability of kitchen utensils such as microwave and electric kettles. These items are needed for warming food and taking tea.
