I genuinely enjoy my experience at the University of Glasgow and would highly recommend it to others. The academic atmosphere here is exceptional, and the diverse cultural environment adds charm. Students come from all over the world, and you can see their genuine enthusiasm for learning and their passion for knowledge. This environment is incredibly inspiring and motivates me to immerse myself in my studies further.
The campus facilities are excellent, especially the Learning Hub, my favorite place to study. The space is thoughtfully designed to cater to the needs of different students. There are quiet, enclosed study rooms for those who need complete focus, semi-open areas for collaborative discussions, and silent study rooms for those who prefer absolute silence. Each floor is equipped with accessible restrooms, showing the university's commitment to inclusivity and the needs of all students. Additionally, there are shower facilities, quiet rooms, and outdoor terraces, all of which add to the variety of spaces available for study and relaxation.
The breathtaking view from its windows makes the Learning Hub even more special. The magical charm of the surroundings feels almost like stepping into the world of Harry Potter. If you're a fan of the series, you'll find this place particularly delightful. The university library is another standout feature, with its extensive collection of books and resources that provide substantial academic support.
Beyond academics, the university dramatically emphasizes extracurricular activities and student well-being. There are many interesting societies to join. My favorites are the skiing and hiking societies, which have brought a lot of excitement and memorable experiences to my university life. The university also has a massive gym with a wide range of equipment, making it easy for students to stay active and healthy. Furthermore, each academic building has its distinct character, which adds to the campus's overall appeal.
Another highlight is the university's professors. They are not only highly knowledgeable but also warm, approachable, and dedicated to helping students succeed. Their guidance has been invaluable in my academic and personal growth.
Of course, some areas could be improved. For example, the number of university dormitories is limited. It can sometimes be challenging to secure a spot in university accommodations, forcing some students to look for private apartments. The staff at these external apartments are often less patient and welcoming than those in the university dormitories. The university can expand its future housing options to meet its students' needs better, providing a more comfortable and supportive living environment.
Overall, the University of Glasgow is an outstanding place to study. From its enriching academic environment and excellent facilities to its vibrant extracurricular opportunities, it offers a well-rounded university experience. While there are areas for improvement, my time here has been overwhelmingly positive.

I am currently studying TESOL at the University of Glasgow, and overall, I am delighted with the course design and teaching quality. The course adopts a blended learning approach, combining the advantages of online learning and classroom teaching. This allows me to flexibly manage my study schedule while enjoying the interactive atmosphere of face-to-face classes. The course content is comprehensive and highly practical, covering everything from language teaching theories to classroom management techniques. Each module is carefully designed to align closely with real teaching needs. The lecturers are not only highly knowledgeable but also very approachable. Whether answering questions after class or providing guidance on assignments, they have been incredibly supportive. The timetable is well-organized, striking a balance between being intensive and allowing enough time for independent study and completing tasks.
However, there are areas for improvement. For instance, some online learning modules lack interactivity, occasionally making me less engaged. I hope more group discussions or practical activities can be incorporated into the online components to make them more engaging and effective. Overall, this program has been incredibly beneficial to me, enhancing my teaching skills and laying a solid foundation for my future career development.
