I love where the university is located, everything is within walking distance and the train station is a great assessor. The student life is also great as Worcester has a lot to offer, the SU always have something on and everything you need is within walking distance. I love how much support I’ve gotten on my PGCE primary course and the way the course is split between university and placements. The university always signpost you to extra support for all sorts of things and the university has so many support systems/ organisations. I also love the variety of clubs that are on offer and I spent three very enjoyable years cheerleading for Worcester in my undergraduate degree. Finally, I think the main improvement point is the parking, especially for students in lectures from 9am to 6pm, as the university parking is limited and parking around the university is pay by hour or residential areas are restricted so you cannot park all day.

I love that my PGCE primary course is intense but we still get a lot of support from lecturers, tutors and school staff. I like how we are split between university and school, with our progress staged, as it feels like I am progressing and consolidating what I’ve learnt at both university and the school. The course hours are long but that is to be expected with teaching and a PGCE. Lecturers are great for when you need support and are always quick to respond.

I am studying with Castleman Learning Network based in Bournemouth and Poole and overseen by University of Worcester. It is such a supportive course, fast feedback, someone always happy to answer questions, great signposting to resources and really helpful support with thinking about next steps.

Great contact time with tutors and great access to tutors help when needed.
