Love the uni, love the course, some fab tutors, love my new friends on the course. Made a brilliant choice coming to Sunderland! Night life is good in Sunderland but I prefer Newcastle

The staff and culture of the university is amazing. It is very supportive and welcoming, and academically the support from staff/library services is second to none. However, the facilities aren’t always that great in terms of classrooms/food/social spaces. I know they are attempting to make improvements on this in recent years.

Taught hours are great. I am not a fan of the placement requirements but I can see the help of the practical element for others. Lecturers are great and are in hand whenever needed.

Expensive to live in but a great location - especially if you can get a top floor room to yourself. All very basic in terms of decor and a little dated, but very spacious.
