Plymouth has everything you need on tour doorstep. Also, has lots of nice parks and scenic places to walk and wind down. The University offers lots to its student, like a writing cafe to help support you with academic writing style. Also, it has many cafes on compass which offer delicious food, one being a fresh pizza cafe.

The course offers lots of philosophy and theory around teaching techniques and approaches. You learn a very miminal amount of national curriculum content though. I am now in my 3rd year of the course and have completed my final placement which I think has set me up to be a teacher of my own class.

The location of Plymouth University is genuinely the thing that made this uni stand out

it is very easy for me to contact anyone i need in terms of my course. the parts that score lower for me is the facilities. potentially a sort of student outdoor teaching area or use of games to use to teach children in the future would be more useful.

I cannot fault my university halls experience. amazing staff, amazing facilities, i could go on and on. the only thing is that it’s expensive but as is all uni accommodation.
