Best: lots of activities, especially sports to keep you active. enthusiastic professors and tutors who are willing to help. Worst: only study three days a week, feeling like there is a lot to learn but quickly lose track. classmates talk in class even after professors tell them to stop. melton hall, where I live, usually has problems relating to the heat, fire alarm, and water system.

Full-time in-person courses are delivered three days a week, about 2 hours per class per day. Some lecturers answer emails and Moodle messages quickly, some are slower. Enthusiastic professors and tutors are willing to help. I wish they have an open office hour of about one hour a week so that students can drop in and ask questions.

The hall's fire alarm is so sensitive that the alarm goes off at least once a week because of a hot shower and some smoke from cooking. People barely trust the alarm so most people stay on the ground floor inside, some even remain in their rooms. The last time the smoke badly went off, we were hushed to get outside in the cold rain at 1 AM because someone burned their food on their stovetop, which was understandable due to the incident. But I can guarantee some people did not bother to get out of their rooms even after the residents texted into the group chat to evacuate. This is highly disturbing and alarming, as people are immune to the emergence of the alarm. Other frequent problems happen such as hot water, heater/radiator, washing machines, and wifi do not work properly. Many of us consider paying the high price to live on campus is not worth the money. I do think the hall management team can do better.
