I have been a proud student of Roehampton University since September 2020 when I studied a BA in Education Studies. The university is such a welcoming and caring environment and welcomes in many students from all walks of life. Roehampton welcomes many international students and creates a close community that makes all students feel welcome. Also, Roehampton's Library is a fabulous place to go and study in with a plethora of books to read and borrow. The student life is brilliant! Karaoke every week and many societies to suit any student! The only thing that Roehampton could possibly improve on is more common areas are needed for students to chill out in on their breaks.

Roehampton is Top for Teacher training and provides a lot of support for student teachers. PGCE Primary is typically placement heavy but is also lecture heavy as well. Typically you get two placements over the year course (BSE 1 and BSE2). There are two pathways for PGCE Primary: EYFS/KS1 or KS1/KS2. If you are looking to become a teacher, Roehampton is the University for you.

Accommodation at Roehampton is incredibly vast and affordable. I have experienced different halls in my time and all are so different to each other. The high end accommodations are very nice and provide en-suite rooms and some double beds. The more lower end accommodations also provide some en-suite rooms and single beds. Old Court is a Postgraduate Accomodation that has small double beds and shared bathrooms. Shared bathrooms are cleaned daily by the cleaners.

I am really really enjoying my first year so far! it is a really multicultural place with a great range of students from all backgrounds and walks of life. I have met some lovely people at a really lovely uni!
