A great university for sports and engineering. Great sports facilities, but often a struggle to use them as they are usually booked out by the sports teams. Good students union, with plenty of events and societies. The university can cater for everyone!

Is in a town which doesn't have much to offer

I like Loughborough a lot, great experience. I would say to keep up to date with your Uni work and make sure you understand everything before it comes to exam time. Also remember tests in all modules go towards your final grade so take them seriously.
