The best aspect, how University of Birmingham have a role for International student. For example there was a Christmas day in campus that makes international students never feel before in their country (especially for Asian). Also how UoB makes sure the students feel safe and helpful. As an international student, UoB really help to manage my career in the future, start from making CV and offer experience outside the campus.

My course urban and regional planning is make me know how professional world in that field and teach us the basic tool that will use in the career. One of my lecturers is really responsive, that the one made me shock she was still respond my email at 8pm and that help me during my study time.

It’s a good place for the future career but the part time experience will be hard to found especially if finding the part-time experience close to the uni

The price of Mason Hall for me is expensive since that place is quite far from stores (groceries) and university. However, the walking to Mason from university is safe and enjoyable. The problem only there is no many option for stores to groceries and only one option

Best: The Campus - I love how easily I can walk from my accommodation to uni and how close everything is together. The beauty of the campus also adds to this and the ease of navigation. Worst: I haven't had any bad experience, one small negative aspect was the lack of contact hours in second year, but after we spoke with the department they took this into consideration and kept following up with us showing that they tried to fix it.

Best = The employability and careers help. There are so many opportunities to get involved internally and externally with experiences relevant to the subject and the skills we learn are directly relevant to real world skills in the workforce which makes it much easier to get placements and puts us in a better position when we come to do that work eventually. Worst = As mentioned, the lack of contact hours in second year (especially second semester) was quite poor, given that we only had three modules so we weren't doing excessive amounts of work outside those contact hours - a couple more lectures a week would have been beneficial, even if it wasn't directly relevant to the assignments. We all wanted to learn from the lecturers, so this is where we felt we could have had more.

Most: The layout was great and abundance of flats meant it was very sociable. The management team was always fast with requests and support. Least: I think the value for money slightly lacked, the rooms were great but the kitchen was slightly limited in terms of how much we were paying, but this didn't affect my experience overall.
