Nice and central location, all the student areas are in the same place and all the shops are within really easy walking distance. There is lots of help and support available for courses all the time and the tutors are all very friendly. The halls are some of the best I have seen (compared to visiting friends at other uni's).

Really nice place to live - everything you need in the centre and then the seafront is really nice for a weekend or special occasion. Great night life, you'll meet a hilarious mix of people. Not the brightest bunch of people but a guaranteed laugh.
