my uni experience has been fun and I've been learning so overall its been definitely good

BEST: The library and IT services are perfect. Great canteen with delicious, diverse and affordable lunch menu. International environment. WORST: The administration is bad - last-minute decisions and changes, changes in the timetable - changes of classrooms were frequent. Almost none personal tutoring. Not enough pressure on good attendance.

BEST:The teachers are very supportive and willing to help with anything. The programme offers 4 different optional language modules, each with multiple levels. The programme is developing dynamically, for example all three compulsory first year modules will be different into 2023/24 and I'm sure the change is for the better. The senior lecturer in international relations is first-class. Abundance of additional learning materials and resources. Political philosophy is useless for 99 % of students but they try to make it at least somehow useful (this doesn't mean it shouldn't be compulsory, it's understandable why it's mandatory for politics students). Dissertation is optional. WORST: It's quite difficult to fail completely this programme as long as you make at least mediocre effort. Lack of almost any optional modules directly from this programme, most of optional modules are from related programmes. The programme is heavily theory-based and 100 % of the assignments are writings but that is the case of politics and international relations at any university. Not enough pressure to do the required readings. Political Conspiracy could rather be an optional module than a compulsory one.

Avery Hill campus is far away from the Greenwich campus, there is a shuttle bus which takes 30 minutes and runs often during the work week which is alright but bear in mind that getting to London (or the other way) during the weekend or night-time is very painful. There is not a single bar or pub in the close neighbourhood! On the other hand, you don't live in the busy city and have a very large park right next to your halls. The campus is big and many students studying at Greenwich live there. I highly recommend Seymour or potentially Aragon as long as you don't mind sharing a bathroom because they are the cheapest ones and I don't really see the value of the more expensive courts. You don't really need a bigger room or fancier kitchen. Either save the money or live directly in Greenwich (if you don't study at Avery of course).
