The academic experience is largely excellent, the facilities for both sporting and artistic pursuits and world-leading and the Student Union leads in holding the University to account and providing opportunities and events for the students. Would absolutely recommend for any course.

Many of the lecturers are world-leading specialists with experience in the professional field that they teach. The teaching and assessment methods are progressive.

I would look at other Halls, but honestly, don't despair if you end up here. It's friendly, if run down.

The best part is the university life. There are lots of societies allowing you to get involved and have fun with people that share your interests, even without societies, the SU puts on many events alongside lots of sports, meaning there is something for everyone. However, a downside would be the age showing through in some of the buildings in the Student Village. On the whole, the accommodation is amazing, one of the best out there, but occasionally, the cracks show, with leaks or the occasional silverfish

The lecturers are very engaging and the topics are amazing. They are quick to give feedback and are supporting. We also have a course representatives who are student bridges between the students and staff to convey feedback.

The hall is amazing, the food is nice and the hall is cleaned regularly. Room size is very good too. However, they can be very slow to respond to non-urgent complaints, such as damaged furniture
