Selly Oak is mostly safe however on big nights like Bonfire night it can be a bit iffy. Selly Oak has a lot to do but its also impacted by bin strikes

The best aspect of my university experience was the friendly campus environment and the beautiful scenery, which made it a great place to study and relax. The Student Union was also very supportive, actively collecting students’ opinions and organising a variety of activities that helped students feel connected. The worst aspect was that sometimes communication about deadlines or timetable changes could be clearer. Improving information delivery and providing more academic support during busy periods would make the experience even better.

The best aspect of my course was the blended learning style, which combined in-class teaching with online resources and gave me flexibility in managing my time. Lecturers were approachable and willing to help, and the course content was practical and relevant. The worst aspect was that the workload could be quite heavy at certain times, with deadlines sometimes close together. Spreading assessments more evenly and offering more guidance during peak periods would improve the course.
