The uni is a perfect uni for sport science it has a vast number of sporting facilities from the gym to the practical sport science labs which are very interesting and good fun. The uni is very accessible from the city centre with buses running every 15mins 7days a day so no need to worry about missing lectures.

Lecturers are very knowledgable about what they’re teaching. Lectures aren’t very interactive and require close listening however doesn’t matter as the seminars help go more in-depth and it more 1-1 debates

New hall is such a lovely place to stay it’s so easy, washing is literally right at reception and it is right next to the student union.

I really enjoy studying here as there is a great employability team and amazing connections that you can make. After only a few months of studying here, I have already been put in touch with employers and feel very assured that life after uni will be comfortable. I wish there was a bit more connection between the City campus and the Clifton campus as the majority of events happen in the city and a limited amount of events happen on Clifton

The majority of content is taught in person with a mixture of lectures, seminars, and lab sessions. I always have Wednesdays off as a sport student which is perfect for BUCS matches. The majority of teachers are very helpful and I find their lectures really engaging and fun. All of the lecturers have office hours so if you have more questions you can book some time with them. They are also very active and reply to emails quickly during the week

I was very anxious about moving away from home, but since arriving in my flat, I have been able to make some amazing friends and make my room feel like a home away from home. Compared to other accommodations that I have seen, Peverell is quite expensive, and the value for money could be improved, but overall I do enjoy living here. The staff at the reception and the maintenance team are also very friendly and helpful.
