My experience has been more than I expected. I have learned a great deal and excelled at sports, complementing both aspects I attended this university for. Really happy I decided to attend University of Worcester.

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

There is a range of fairs, lectures and help available to ensure we have the best opportunities possible

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

The interactiveness. I had a very interesting placement

Students' Union

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

Student Union represents the University well. I'm in close contact with them about sports as I play for the basketball team

Uni Facilities

How good are your university's facilities?

In general they are ok, could be a bit more modern as lots of the buildings are fairly old. Some lecture halls have no tables which is poor. However, others are great

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

Accommodation is located close to the university. Shops are also located fairly close with the town centre also being only around a 10-15 minutes walk away.

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

There is a variety of sports/societies offered to students, carting for all tastes and interests

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

there is a good support system here. I often utilise tutorials available to help develop my work. Have never used counselling, however have heard that it is very positive.

Job Prospects

How does your uni make efforts to increase your employability (careers department, work placements, transferable skills)?

There are so many workshops and events giving advice and exposure to placements, transferable skills and employment opportunities. I couldn't thank them enough for all the opportunities they have provided

What do you like most and least about the way your course(s) are taught?

My course is unbelievable. Not only is the content relevant and interesting but the staff support is second to none I couldn't fault them and without them and my university I wouldn't have made it into my third year!

What do you think of your Students' Union in terms of student representation and facilities?

Our student union is constantly putting on events and charity events suitable for all. They are inclusive, interested in our opinions and the SU staff are fab. They are always willing to listen and help whenever needed.

The facilities are great. They are always listening to advice and improving where needed!

Local life

Is your university in a good location in terms of distance to accommodation and local amenities?

The city is beautiful, a great mix between natural beauty, convenience and historical buildings. I couldn't fault it!

Societies and Sports

How would you rate the variety of societies/sports?

There are so many sports and societies I genuinely don't have time to join enough. Regular training, fixtures, socials (drinking and sober). The university caters for everything!

Student Support

How good is the support offered by the uni? Think both academic (tutors/feedback) and personal (counselling, etc).

Unbelievable! Throughout my time at the uni I have had DSA specialist mentoring my the mental health team and they are always just an email or phone call away. My PAT is just the same! The university has inclusivity and student wellbeing at the forefront of its ethos!
