The best part of my experience at the University of Westminster so far has been the facility. Before coming to London, I studied for a year at a university in my home country. The experience I had back home in comparison to my experience at Westminster has been significantly different. The staff has been a standout part of my experience. They are willing to go above and beyond for all their students and do what they can to help you succeed. As a student who struggles with a learning disability, all the lecturers I have had have been extremely helpful, whether that's pointing me in the right direction for resources or taking the time to explain exactly where and how I can improve in my coursework. One aspect of Westminster that has been tough for me personally is how crowded the campus feels. I spend all my time at the Marylebone campus, a very populated campus. I find that it can be a bit challenging sometimes to find a place to study or work between lectures that is not the silent floors of the library. I wish there was another floor for chatting in the library. Giving more space to hang out with your friends between lectures and also to study. I am personally not a fan of studying in complete silences it feels too dense for me. Overall, my experience at Westminster has been welcoming and positive. I have even joined the men's football club as the social media manager and photographer. In addition, recently I have been helping plan events for the club, too. The players have been so welcoming, and the student union has helped let me take on a real role in the club despite being a woman and non player.

Before my time at Westminster, I completed a year in the same course at another university in my home country. The Sports Management here at Westminster is 10x better. The content feels real and relevant. The field trips are to iconic historical sports facilities. Additionally, the teachers know and are extremely passionate about what they are teaching. I feel like when I walk out of Westminster in 2 years, I will have a relevant and useful degree that I can be confident in and know will help me in my career. I know that for a lot of people, they don't feel they really use their degree after university, and this was a fear of mine, but honestly, now I feel more confident that I will be able to head into the sports industry well prepared.

The University of Westminster is a great place to study because of its location in the heart of London, at Baker Street. The professors are excellent and have relevant knowledge and experience in the sports industry. We also hear from experienced guest speakers working in the industry, which gives us valuable insight into real-world careers. In addition, we go on trips to visit sporting stadiums and venues, which is very helpful for gaining practical experience and a deeper understanding of the industry. The university experience could be enhanced by organising more on-campus activities and events for students.

The professors are brilliant. They all have experience in the industry and are passionate about teaching. They often invite experienced guest lecturers and take us on trips to gain practical experience at iconic venues.
