The best aspects of my uni experience have been the people and the opportunities. Being part of the volleyball team has been a highlight—it’s given me a strong sense of community and pushed me to improve physically. Academically, the flexibility to explore different subjects has been a big plus, and the support from lecturers has generally been great. On the downside, my biggest struggle has been balancing studies, sports, and personal growth while also trying to eat enough to gain muscle. The workload can be overwhelming at times, and I think the uni could improve by offering better support for student-athletes, especially in terms of scheduling and nutrition guidance.

The best part of studying Sport Management is how relevant and practical the course is. The mix of theoretical knowledge and real-world applications makes it engaging, and when lecturers bring in industry insights or guest speakers, it really helps connect what we’re learning to actual careers in sports. The opportunity to work on case studies and projects related to current sports events is also a big plus. On the downside, some modules feel a bit repetitive, covering similar concepts without adding much depth.
