Personally for myself I have loved being at university , for me the best thing is the amount of new people and friend's you meet across your time whether that it through your halls of residence, the course or just people you end up meeting across the way. It is the one thing at university which makes you feel at home is having a great connection of friend's as coming to university is new and can be a tough challenge but having this makes it so much better. Honestly for me, the worse thing about university's is how fast it goes! time flies by and next thing you know your almost finished university so make sure you enjoy every minute as it goes by.

I would say the best parts of my course are the mix of both classroom based lessons and practical , due to doing a sports course depending on the units we have a good mix of both which I find great as it can sometimes be hard to sit in lecture rooms and classrooms for a long time everyday so by having a mix we get the bets of both worlds. I would like our timetable to have less gaps in it as sometimes with a big 2 hour gap it can be tiring but it also does have it's perks of getting work done.

I loved my halls in 1st year and for anyone coming to Manchester Metropolitan i would highly recommend archway , the newest accommodation with your own ensuite sharing with 7 other people. Its in a great location within a 5 mins walk to any university buildings and has aspects such as a gym , laundry rooms , games rooms and cinema to have fun with your flatmates and friend's. The price is quite expensive however that is the same with any hall's these days.
