The lecturers on my course are always very helpful, happy to chat outside of lectures to support you when unsure on an area of the course. The buildings and facilities are relatively modern and nice to study at, but other universities probably have bigger practical spaces than us.

The university has some really good facilities, but a lot are only used by final year students while carrying out their dissertation studies and would be 5 stars if there was the opportunity for exposure to use the equipment all throughout the course. The lecturers are all really helpful and are happy to go out of their way to support students in and out of lecture time with areas of the course they are unsure on, CV support, placement opportunities and more. I am unsure how much they can help with career prospects after the 3 years of university is done though, but a few of the lecturers do have contacts in the sports industry and are happy to help share their expertise or contacts.

Poor communication. Enquiries take ages to hear back from and feedback on assignments sometimes don’t make sense. Lecturers are very biased when marking work, for example it must align with their views. Good facilities and access to laptops, computers etc is great. Great night life with loads to do and the city itself is cheap for students. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere, casual and everyone is there to learn.

An entire module during my last semester was delivered online only despite no covid restriction. This felt very strange and unnecessary given the circumstances and I feel it hampered my learning as the online sessions were spent meditating and feeding back.

Great city that is very cheap on student night. Loads to do including football, ice hockey, bowling. Great city for shops too. There are tonnes of bars and restaurants of different cultures so many different foods can be tasted!
