The student support is incredible, any issues and they will be there immediately, makes students feel very secure here. Student life is also incredible. The campus life team work to put on amazing events that are inclusive and accessible. Some of the uni buildings are very old and more like high school classrooms rather than your typical lecture hall, but I think thats kind of expected from the location. Speaking of the location, it doesn't get much better than here. From climbing to kayaking to surfing, this place has it all

My course is presented entirely in person, with the option of an online replacement in the event of isolating due to covid. I have about 20 hours of contact time a week, including one 9-5 practical day, and one full day off. I find this to be a very good balance. My lecturers are amazing. They are super approachable and just an email away. They are organised and helpful. I haven’t done any placements, however a number of friends have and they appear to work well

To be completely honest. Having spent almost 2 years of study in Bangor, Wales, I would say it's one of the perfect cities for either local students or international students who want to get out of the hectic city environment. Surrounded by beautiful, gigantic mountains and castle-look main campus, what can I say! Fantastic people, friendly and cheerful. Supportive student representatives and student union, campus staff. High standard teaching and up to date facilities. FREE of charge to join every societies and sport teams, salute to the university! You won't be disappointed by joining the university and immerse in a relaxing countryside life! Negative stuff to some people: 1) Not so much shopping around here, dont expect you would find branded outlet here. 2) So many hills!! Welcome to Bangor University to all the prospective students.

My course is amazing, taught by great, experienced, profound lecturers. Great outdoor environment thanks to the nature of North Wales, it is amazing to learn outdoor and sport praticals. Blended-learning as for now, but the lecture is still good and informative.

Bangor university situated in cosy town surrounded by glorious moutains and sea. One thing not so great is that you have to climb hills almost every time.

Great for first year student, everything is sorted. Fast wifi, regular cleaning and maintenance in the halls too!
