I love the campus, so green and safe. I've always felt really supported by the student services.

Claire and George (the lecturers who lead the course) are the best in their field and are super involved and knowledgeable.

Very expensive, but nice

The campus is gorgeous, with a wide range of shops and facilities that have especially grown over the last few years. The linguistics department teachers are wonderful and the staff are very understanding with any issues a student may encounter.

I am doing a part time masters for financial and mental health related reasons, and the course teachers are always happy to explain how my course differs from full time students or to discuss the course with me. The lectures specifically for Forensic Linguistics are incredibly knowledgeable in their area of study and it is genuinely a privilege to be taught by them!

Bowland College has a wide range of facilities and accommodation types, and is certainly good money for what you get compared to other colleges on campus. However ladybug infestations, water issues, and overall old bathrooms aren’t accounted for in the ever increasing rent prices for campus. Also now that Sir Guinness the campus cat has moved away, Bowland college is definitely less vibrant (miss you Guinness).
