Best aspects- the professors are very knowledgeable, very secular place.

We have 3 different types of classes for each module. Labs, lectures and tutorials which really emhance the learning experience

The computing school is large with currently between 400-500 First years spanning across Creative Computing, Computer Science and Software Engineering. Despite this I feel included and can easily access support if needed through my personal tutor and the module coveners. Additionally, the University of Leicester is a diverse university with students from all around the world. I have met people on my course from different cultures and backgrounds which adds to the appeal of the university. I just wish there were more spaces to study on campus that are quiet, there are dedicated silent study rooms in the library but if I wanted to study outdoors in the sunshine, there are little options.

Currently spanning between 18-20 contact hours a week. Face-to Face teaching with some blended learning for certain modules (Computer Architecture). Worst Aspects of my course is that there is not any optional modules in the first year which could add more diversity in terms of course content in the first year. Additionally there is not a dedicated building for the Computing department.
