The campus offers a lot of green spaces which allow students to relax from their coursework. The university offers a lot of useful facilities for students to use. However, Falmouth is far from civilization as many know and can be proven a bit lacking in areas such as offering cheap franchises. Also, there is not many good alternatives for students to choose from for shopping or going out immediately next to Penryn Campus

I think the course is quite good it offers opportunity to learn skills that are useful in the industry. However, while I understand why, I do not appreciate that there are such different courses like robotics, data science, and game dev put together for first year. I understand that it gives people who are uncertain on what they want to do opportunity to make sure they are doing what they find most interesting. In my experience college was very generalist in its courses where you end up doing a bit of everything, and I was hoping that the University will provide more a course targeted at just one of these specialisms.

Glasney View offers halls on campus, which allows quick and easy access to all of my timetabled sessions. The Wi-Fi offered is fast, especially for how many students are living here. Whenever, I had an issue with my room, the halls team was quick to respond and fix it. However, after looking at different accommodations for next year I realized how extremely overpriced the accommodations provided by university are.

I actually study online, part time, I didn't realise these questions were only about on site studying. I've never been to Falmouth before, never visited the uni. I picked the uni because it was one of the only ones offering this subject, at this level, part time, online. As for the teaching and organisation for online studying my experience has been great so far. The online platform can be kind of annoying as it is easy to lose documents or posts in the many different forums, but the lecturers have all been super helpful for helping us find things.

Career prospectis is tricky, the RealWorks program the uni provides is great but is best suited towards people finding their first job. As I said previously, the online system Canvas is ok, but it is so large and sprawling it can be quite confusing. Big Blue Button is ok, but when you add reactions to your video then only the lecturer can see them which seems to defeat the point. There wont be any placements as part of my course officially, but I am aiming to find an internship before graduating.
