My Uni experience began in 2021 with a different course. After transferring in 2022 I made more use of the Uni’s support resources (e.g career guidance, student union, advice centre and more). The Uni has great support services that are independent from specific Uni courses. Specifically the advice centre has a great team that will work with you to find the best outcome or solutions. The Uni could create more opportunities for social networking on campus between students and work experience organisations. As well as overall social events for students. It seems as though there are not many social events to participate in on campus to meet other students from other courses.

Many of my lectures and especially my Personal Academic Tutor are amazing forms of support on the course. All are open to suggestions from students concerning course content and other feedback. They are fast to reply when enquiring about the course or work opportunities. They also provide many opportunities for assessment support and guidance and are more than happy to help.

Firth point is a “alright” for the first year. However, it is small compared to other Capital Halls locations and there are no amenities (gym, social room etc) and the laundry room is not reliable. The building and rooms are older and the kitchen appliances are also quite old.

- sense of community and support systems in place - don’t have any negative aspects of uni personally

- great accessibility to support systems and tutors - only negative experience was one of my module choices for 3rd year was removed due to staff leader leaving so had to choose another module topic
