As a commuter student, balancing personal responsibilities with a rigid schedule is tough. However, the support at Queen Mary is outstanding. They are genuinely understanding of individual circumstances; for example, they adjusted my timetable to fit my specific needs. It’s a relief to be treated as a person rather than just a number.

The standout feature of my course is the staff. Although there are occasionally scheduling overlaps where tutor contact sessions clash with other classes, the lecturers and tutors are incredibly accommodating. They are always willing to fix or move meetings to days when I am actually available, which is vital for a commuter student.
