Great location if you love a night out, but equally tonnes of places to sit and study in. Loads of resources are available for your degrees, and YOLO is the best place to go for a student night in the country.

Great engagement, helpful lecturers; tutors could be slightly more present, though.

The lectures are really useful, the topics are interesting and I enjoy a lot of the books on the reading list; however some seminars (not all of them) can be extremely awkward.

I’ve lived in taly north since September last year and actually like it. It’s great value for money, has an en-suite bathroom and the kitchens are a decent size. It’s really close to shops such as Tesco, Aldi, B&M, and also a PureGym. Also close to McDonald’s for after a night out :3. It’s a short walk from the SU, about 20 minutes so not too far. The rooms have a lot of storage space and large desks. Also if you do have a problem i.E. light not working, and report it online, the maintenance team are really quick with coming and fixing things. My only issue is that the mattresses are a bit springy but get a mattress topper and you should be fine :)
