Speaking as a student nurse, communication within this department has been a bit shambolic. The support from staff hasn't been the best however I am hopeful coming into second semester, this will improve. However, on a brighter not - the campus is bright. I am a student ambassador for the university and I love my role. It is flexible and I get to meet a wide range of people whilst encouraging others to come to university. I love sharing my story with others and helping them to realise there are lots of different pathways to university not just by getting straight A's in A-Levels.

On a week, we have a full day of lecturers on Monday and our seminars/clinical skills on a Friday. I think that our teaching could be better as in our first semester things were getting cancelled all the time, not communicated to us and there was a lot of issues with work not being available to us on canvas until the night before. Im hoping due to staff employment and responsibility changes, this will improve in second semester.
