I love that everything is in 1 place and not all scattered across a city

The course is great

A lot of money for the accommodation in my opinion and wifi could he improved

I think general support and wellbeing is good but is bigged up more than it reflects, it can be hard to access and takes time to hear back from the team however the nightline system is very good and a great concept. The campus has a community feel and the layout works well, however some areas (such as bowland and the Cartmel/Londsdale area) look a little dated or 'samey samey' - this isnt a big problem at all and the facilities in both these places are very good!! The buildings are all well built and have a nice interior, I personally wish the Library had a slightly cozier area (less bright lights, more comfy seating and more of a warm feeling) as it can sometimes feel slightly stark, but it is good to work in. The nightlife isn't spectacular but a good night out can definitly be achieved and the Uni makes a strong effort in organising events and societies which keeps you busy if thats what you like. Overall, I love studying here.

I do wish that we had more in contact hours as some weeks I only attend 9 hours a week. However that being said the teaching quality is great and I do feel I am learning a lot!

The rooms are different sizes which (especially when youre paying almost £200 a week) can feel very unfair when your flatmates have a room twice the size of yours for the same price. I also have a disability and it doesn't feel this was largely taken into account within the accommodation. The room I have is very nice, with large amounts of storage however the wet room is very difficult to use as, when the shower curtain is pulled, there is a very very tiny space in the shower. The matresses are also not at all comfortable, however I did get this replaced due to my disability which was an easy process and is much more comfortable! The Wifi within the rooms works great, however doesn't stretch 3 feet to the kitchen meaning no work can be done there if you want to get out of your room. I feel very safe as I do everywhere on campus. I would say the cost is much more than fair and, comparitively to other unis and room options, is very bad value for money.
