University, as a whole, at Cardiff Met is an incredible experience and one I'd recommend to anyone wishing to study a sports, policing/law or an arts course! The university's facilities are incredible from massive sports centres for swimming, track sports, tennis and many more to massive libraries and help centres for students who need it! The range of courses is also incredible and there's something for everyone! The university thrives on diversity, inclusivity and creating a safe and welcoming environment! I thrive on my course thanks to my incredible lecturers breaking down every session and making room for any and all questions! While studying in university there are also social hotspots to grab food, socialise, study and have meetings with tutors/lecturers if any additional support is needed! The only things that do need improvement at the uni are the SU and the opportunity for events there! Due to campus having a bus stop that allows student's to go straight into town, there's a lack of desire to stay within the campus... so therefore, I think there should be polls weekly about potential events to push the desire of wanting to spend an evening in the SU.

My course is in-class learning for 9 hours a week1 The course is incredibly interesting and full of all the content I could ask for! The criminology course incorporates law, policing, psychology and sociology, this means there is no stone left unturned and each day of learning offers something new and exciting! My lecturers are very active in terms of response time and support! It's really important to my lecturers that every student is comfortable and up to date with what we're learning and it truly makes all the difference!

Living in halls is an experience I'll never forget! I was in catered accommodation and lived with 15 others in the Ellis 9 block! My room was incredibly spacious with loads of storage and an ensuite! My room gave me the privacy I needed whilst still being able to easily interact with housemates! The room was always incredibly well kept as well as the rest of our accom block due to the cleaners coming in every week to clean the floors, stairs and kitchen! Maintainence we're also superstars for fixing any problem that appeared... even late into the evenings when they didn't have to! My accom was also incredibly safe with access, by keycards, to only the students who lived there. Security were also working 24/7 to keep the campus calm, safe and satisfied!

lovely environment, no rubbish anywhere, friendly staff. Lecturers are very helpful and really nice, overall an amazing place to be.
