Personally, I think the best aspects of my uni experience has been making so many new friends and connecting with people I probably wouldn’t be if I had have stayed home. Also, I didn’t even like school that much but with uni I feels so much better. I enjoy my course so I find all the work quite interesting. The worst part of my uni experience would probably be the transition into second year. When I first moved back after summer I was struggling a little bit. I found it a lot harder to adjust to this year compared to first as I was busy so often. Second year just felt abit lonely at the start.

My course is really helpful and it’s good that we can just email out tutors or lecturers and ask questions and they often reply quite quickly.

I liked nelson and drake because of the city location, and it wasn’t far from the bus stop to get to uni. Also I met a lot of people living there who I got alone with. It was good for nights out to be in town aswell. The thing I didn’t like was how gross people are, when they don’t clean up after themselves. Also maintenance where a hit or miss, either fixing something or leaving it for monthssss - most of the time.

My general impression is that UWE is a great uni with good facilities. My low score for the students union was because every time i go it's exactly the same and I feel as if I'm in a year 8 school disco.
